Sand and gravel in Arizona I have Pitbull RB tires on my truck right now, but they just dont cut the loose sand and gravel in Arizona, what would be a better tire for climbing in loose stuff, do I need like a sand rail tire, thanks for all replies, cheers |
Re: Sand and gravel in Arizona It depends on what RC you have... A Comp Crawler? A Wraith? And how much power you have to put on the ground. For loose sand, you will need power and speed! |
Re: Sand and gravel in Arizona Ive never had issues with pitbulls here in loose stuff. Cut claws also work real good. You need decent wheel speed for both though. |
Re: Sand and gravel in Arizona Im working on a little more speed with a pinion gear change, |
Re: Sand and gravel in Arizona In my experiences, nothing really grabs on to gravel or super loose rock. It's so skaty and loose, it gives way so easily, that finding traction is a chore. That said, you'll have to resort to the tried and true method of "Pin it to win it". |
