I've ran r35 Trepadors in the wet but I'm not impressed. Might be temperature related though. It's only 60* at best.

All tires are going to slip when wet but my Pit Bulls grab better than most of my other tires.

I know that wet tires aren't going to work as well, but what effect can changes in temperature have on tires? I ask because I live in Idaho and one day it can be 80 degrees and the next it can drop to 30!

The RB2's work pretty good on wet slippery rock, but the old school Rock Beast XOR's (with the hollow lugs) work really well when it's wet. Not quite as scale but hey....they work.

| Re: Tires for wet river rocks.. There's days where the rock is impossible to get traction on and other days we get tires wet because there's too much traction. Temperature plays a huge roll in Minnesota.

Flat irons in general do t grab as well, also with how small they are it makes it harder to leave a footprint on the rocks. A bigger tires would help a bit

My sealed Rip Saws with stock foams surprised me, worked quite well on slick, wet rock.

My go-to tires for those exact conditions are X2SS compound Rc4wd Boggers.

| Re: Tires for wet river rocks.. Hey Kenton... whats going on... i was a little bit frustrated at those wet slick rocks at William Pond; other than that , say at Folsom Lake. My flat iron are cool though.

I recommend Proline TSL XLs!!! The place where my group gets together mostly is an uphill spring creek coming from the top of this small mountain and its dry in most places on a regular day but has a small stream going. When it rains it can get pretty tricky but the Swampers hold their own. A friend has Pitbulls on his Truggy and they are about even most of the time but I think the Swampers work just a lil better but Ive got a lot of time into my foam tuning. I dont think you can go wrong with either one but to me the Swampers just look better and are sized better |

YES, I dont know exact measurements but the XLs are taller and a little bit wider than the PBs
