Default idea how to bulid fake 2.2 beadlocks

i was trying to figure out how i was going to make my fake beadlocks. because im not so good with power tools or cutting stuff stright , i was thinking of what i could use. what about using that drill bit thing that looks like a cup, that you would use to cut out a door handle hole. thats 2 1/8'' and it makes it round and it puts a hole right in the center that you could easily drill out to make it bigger. then just mark out the extra details like the smaller holes and drill them out too.
i havent tried it yet but i think itll work. the only thing i just thought of is that it make the outside diameter of the hole 2.2'' not the inside.

does anyone know the drive size on those?
They don't have a hex, just a groove for the pin. I have a set I used on my TLT. The problem with them is the offset isn't the greatest. I switched to Traxxas wheels and got 1/4" more clearance on the inside, which is critical on a TLT on the front axle to clears the shocks while steering.

I'm working on a way to convert the Traxxas wheels to true beadlock, hopefully will have it done this week.

If you just are after the "look" then just go get some freakin' washers at the hardware store.... less than $2 and a splash of paint. If you wanted to get crazy you could drill holes and toss on the heads off some button head hex screws.
