Default Axial 1.9 BFGoodrich Krawler T/A - R35 or Pro-line Interco TSL SX Super Swamper XL ?

Hello,

I'm on the hunt for a tall 1.9 scale replica tire. I have narrowed it down to these two tires. I'm planning on running the Crawler Innovations Deuce Single Stage Closed Cell for 1.9 Proline TSL SX XL in them regardless of the tire choice I make. I've figured since the tires have about the same dimensions, the foams should work on the Axial tires to. Any feedback from people who have ran these tires would be appreciated. Pros and cons for each tire would be great to!

Thanks for your help

I am running the 1.9 proline super swamper XL, I am using SLW wheels with a 600 offset. I am not sure on your rigs specs but the problem I ran into was they are way to wide if you are using VP zero ackerman knucklers for high steering radius. The tires will hit the shock turning... especially when it articulates. 600 offset is already to much for me, I cannot get through narrow places. Also since I wanted my battery relocated down low for CG I purchased the gevne battery plate but the tires are to wide and would hit a normal 2s pack so I have to run shortys.
The next issue is the swampers lugs are spaced so far apart they get about same traction as a skinner width tire on rocks. In the mud they work good.
I am going to get take them off and purchase the Pitbull Madbeast or the the new BFG Krawlers. Hope this helps.

Thanks! What a coincidence! I run the jevne ultra plate to! Thanks for the heads up! I don't think this will cause a problem since I plan on switching to 2200mah 3S lipos soon, so everything should clear (knock on wood). I think I'll go with the BFGs, since their 2.2 counterpart seem to have very positive reviews for rock crawling, but has you said, the Super Swamper XL are oustdanding in mud. Though choice...

P.-S. If anyone has planned on going the same route as I will probably go (BFGs and deuce foams) I messaged crawler innovations and he recommends to run Deuces Wild 1.9 Mad Beast Foam or the Lil' Nova 4.50".

In my experience the tsl-sx hook up really good on the rocks. Mine aren't even broken in yet and they are already impressive. This is using 2.2 Axial ripsaw foams btw.
