Hands down my favorite tire. I'm now running all sizes except the small 1.9 1.9 trail truck running 1.9 xls 2.2 comp trail truck running 2.2 std 2.2 TTC truck running the 2.2 XLs I've only got 3 trail rides and some rock crawling on the 2.2 xls. They replaced a set of 2.2 pitbull IIs. I just love these tires. Crawling on cold rock with dry moss they hooked lines that the pitbulls couldn't do. This 10lb rig has never been this good on the rocks. I'm looking forward to getting them broken in even more and ready for next season. Dna |

I'm interested to hear more about how they compare to the holy pitbulls. I've got about 10 hours on my 2.2 xls and although they were good out of the bag, now I can't imagine the pitts being any better. These things have killed lines I have attempted with my regular tsl, r35 ripsaws, ttc claws, and trepadors.

No regrets swapping growlers for xl's. They flat out work in our area. |

Is this tire still class 3 illegal? Has anybody successfully mounted them on RC4WD beadlocks? Thanks -Brian |

| Re: PRO-LINE new TSL From what I understand this is a foam issue, and I'm thinking narrow CI foams anyway. I'm just wondering about the bead design, as I've had hell with the terrible PL bead before. The triangular shape is a pain.

Maybe the rules will change for 2015, but as far as I know , yes, they won't fly...

I sure hope sorrca addresses this little issue because there clearly isnt an advantage to this TSL over the larger but legal pit bull rock beasts IIs and those giant Rc4wd Mickeys.

I personally don't think it matters much as far as the rule size goes, but in "as delivered " form they look a good 1/2" bigger than the pits.

Got a set of the 1.9 and been trying to get mounted on my Axial 8 Hole Bead Locks. I believe I have got them installed properly on the rims. I have vented the wheels on the inside with two small holes. Two things are bothering me. #1. Did not make much difference with the Vent Holes. Tires to me are still to hard. Still using the included foams that came with tires. #2. I have tried several times to get the tire to stop it;s wobble effect. What I mean is that when the wheel is mounted on the truck and you are watching it run, the tires have a wobble. Two are semi okay but the other two are really noticeable. It is not the wheel. This has been confirmed. What could be causing this? I have read on here about cutting on the foams. Would anyone that has actually done it care to eloborate? What I would like to achieve is to get a tire that is not so hard and bouncy. Want it to be like 1:1 when tires are air downed for rock crawling. Oh btw, these are mounted on an Axial Trail Honcho which is a SCX10 Chassis. |

ditch the foams that came with them or go through some trial and error with cutting them down. i cant begin to tell you how to trim your foams without knowing what terrain you run on, different patterns will give different results.. but i can give one almost universal opinion, everyone has a bit of resentment toward the stock foams to put it lightly. im going to guess one of the foams is twisted up in the tire giving you the wobble, its a pain in the ass but youre gonna need to ake them apart to square that up. while they are apart, take the razor to them. check in the tire/wheel section here for pattern ideas |

| Re: PRO-LINE new TSL Unfortunately yes, i am waging an e-mail campaign to Pro-Line to change size on the website to 5.75 to make them legal just like RC4WD did to get IROKs and Claws into class 3 even though they were listed at 5.8 initially. To mount on an RC4WD wheel you need to narrow the inner ring or buy a set of their proline compatible inner rings to fit that fat bead.

Too bad that they're so huge, or listed as such anyway. I went with the standard 2.2's again, as my rigs hit the occasional comp. Didn't realize proline was so out of touch with the sorrca rules...
