Just received a set from RPP, haven't had a chance to mount the tires yet, but they seem really nice.

Cheers,
Wade

I can offer up my poison spider hubs to these tomorrow as they use the same pcd as vp
The bolt pattern is the same as the VP hubs but the wheels' lug holes are too small for the 4-40 hardware needed. Just drill out the wheels a little (7/64 drill bit IIRC) and the SLWs bolt right up.

Only the 1.9 steel D hole wheels need the holes drilled out for the larger hardware. All other SSD wheels are fine as we fixed this oversight on later wheels.

Good tip and easy fix.

Very nice to see vendors on here pro-actively working with us to fix and improve their products...I love it! Should be a much more common thing, thanks!

EDIT: Forgot to say that 2.2 Ripsaws mounted up real easy all four with CI DW foams on first try.

Here's mine:

Agreed, vendor participation is a huge plus. My 1.9's went together fairly easy with tsl xl's.

Kudos to SSD for taking the SLW pattern into consideration when making there wheels. not that anybody has to follow what another company does, but when companies do this and the SLW pattern seems to be a standard to live by, it helps the community across the board. i know it made up my mind on my next set of wheels

I just couldnt resist these wheels, finally ordered a set(wish it was a few sets but 1 will do for now). SSD seems like a company I have no problem supporting.

Fantastic wheels and an outstanding company to deal with. I have the 2.2s on my Yeti using Pit Bull Rock Beast IIs and 1.9s on my Ascender K5. Now I need a set for my Twin Hammers.

2.2 Assassin wheels on my PS Wraith. Wasn't sure about the gray color but I think it matches up well with the body. I did have to drill out screw holes to accommodate the SLW screws though.

I love my 2.2 10 holes but it can be a pain in the A$$ to mount the TSL XL on them haha. Had to get an extra set of hands. I am going to try to find some longer screws to assist, but want to make sure I get the right size.

m2.5x8 is what they run I think. I am going to find some m2.5x15 hopefully. Anyone else try this?

Yes it is common practice to use 2 or 3 longer screws to get started then switch to the shorter screws at the end.
