BFT all the way! even stock they crawl fearly well and are soft! k-rocks really dont have much for traction, good sidewalls but need alot of work to be worth while

My LST's have better bite than both of those tires. They are both pretty hard from what I have seen, and they need alot of work to get them any other way.

WEll, I may be Nuts, but they don't work all that well out here unless you start grooving them like crazy. WE'll see how they work against a set of LST's this weekend. texrok runs the BFT's and he likes them. I am just going by what I have, and what I run. I don't know anything about rccrawling out in Cali, I am in Texas. In Texas, OK, and ARkansas, the BFT's are not that great. So, am I Nuts..... Maybe, if you don't like the truth.

yes the bfts would be better.. but it all depends on the terrain your in..my BFt's dont do bad, but would do alot better cut up..but my LST's just stomp a mudhole in the BFTs but do show more wear.. owell, i will just keep buying LST's

This has been said over and over again. It really depends on where you crawl, as rckjeep said the BFT's are better then the LST's here in nor-cal IMO. That does not mean the LST's are bad it's just that cut BFT's have proven to be better in many situations, and the BFT's compound lasts MUCH longer then the soft LST compound.

And when the hell did tires start caring what state they were in? I usually try not to respond to most of the crap you say, but I could help this one. I'd better be careful I don't want to get the whole tire issue started again. Good choice Spookyseven, I think you'll like the BFT's Last edited by Texrok; 02-05-2005 at 08:36 AM. | |

I like those cut krocks. they look sweet. My cut BFT's are awesome everywhere. Here in cali we have so many different types of rock its crazy. Theres granite and quartz and uh a bunch of other types of rock that I can't name. I'm no geologist. Anyway. I'd like to get some K-Rocks and cut them like you did. looks awesome Chris

SR5dave, I know what you're saying about different terrain types from state to state. I was just trying to be funny when I said that the tires don't care what state they are in. Actually the BFT's do great in Texas. I ran them today and they did just great. Those pics of the K rocks do look great.

I hauled my junk down to Alabama to run those boys today..... the K-rocks didn't work worth a crap down there. On the clean, dry rocks they did OK, mix in some wet sand and I would have been as well off with a set of slicks.
