Re: rc4wd bully 2.2 comp tire More comp tyres the better, I do like the look of these will be interesting to see how they perform. |
Re: rc4wd bully 2.2 comp tire So it's been a few months, is anyone liking these? They're way less expensive than voodoo pins, and easier to get than losi pins, lol! Are they as good?? |
Re: rc4wd bully 2.2 comp tire They SUCK, I've tried the Pro-Line Chisels-not too bad, Panther Leopards- much better (the large side lugs help) and the Rover white dots the best. The bully's don't seem to hold a line, The Losi slides to the side and the next stop is on the roof. All were tested with CI foams. The pit bull ex tires look good but I have not had a chance to test those. The Leopards were a bargain at $12.99 a pair. |

Re: rc4wd bully 2.2 comp tire I think they work fine for the price, you do have to cut some of the pins out for better performance. Are they like VooDoo's? I really doubt it the tire compound cant be any where close to VooDoo's. I don't have any VooDoo pins yet but I do have their U4 and 1.9 KLR's any those are both sweet! I would call the Bully Comp tire a "Basher" comp crawler tire, they might be the perfect tire for somebody. It really is the price that makes them a great option. |
Re: rc4wd bully 2.2 comp tire I've never bothered breaking in the bully tires. A-Main sells traction compound in several compounds. Does anyone use this to help break in the tires? |
Re: rc4wd bully 2.2 comp tire Quote:
I haven't, I just drive my rig to break in tires... I haven't received a pm from you... I'm waiting for my bully tires from you. |
Re: rc4wd bully 2.2 comp tire I'd like to hear some feedback from someone that has given them a chance and driven them long enough to break them in |
Re: rc4wd bully 2.2 comp tire I have a set sitting here waiting on some foams from CI before I even run them. The stock foams are very soft. I plan on trimming some pins off like CI did as well. He said it really woke them up. |
