Default Wheel choice

Wondering what the best 1.9 headlock wheel for a set of pit bull rock beasts are, I got a set of rc4wd steel stamped wheels and they just won't stay on the bead when assembling them.

Any 1.9 that gets closer to 1" before you add rings is going to be easier to mount to a beadlock, also a wider rim will curb that tight bulging tire look. I also would recommend C.I foams, they make putting together wheels substantially less annoying.

I think mayhem engineering make 1" wide wheels, but I'm not too sure. Motoworx are .825" if I remember correctly

Axial 8-hole beadlocks. Never had any problems with any tyre I've tried on them.

My Rock Beasts are on widened 8-holes and I like the look.

If we can help let me know. Our 1.9 wheels are 1.00 wide without the rings in place. Depending on the wheel design you can get our 1.9 wheels in 1.00 wide, 1.250, 1.500, 2.00.

Thanks Mayhem Eng.

Thank you guys i am an uber noob in scale rc stuff, literally started this hobby because it was calming for me because I have ptsd from my 10 year stent in the US Army. And my buddy EeePee let me drive is trucks. So I am learning and picking up parts when I can but I doubt my truck will be done anytime soon, so when I can I am just driving his trucks. All I have is the rc4wd wheels, pit bulls, body, frame, skid plate and rear cantilever suspension from dinky.. lol that's it I appreciate all the help and suggestions guys

And mayham eng. I saw your guys wheels they are tempting if I can't get these rc4wd ones to work.

Thanks Mayhem Eng.

These wheels are great. I have 2 sets of 1.9 and 2 sets of 2.2 wheels. Mayhem wheels are on the heavy side though. Locked up rc makes a great wheel also. I had a set of 2.2 8 lug wheels. I never got them dirty and a friend just had to have them. I had a set of Panther Products 2.2 Cobra tire from Crawler Innovations on Axial 2.2 Trail Ready HD wheels. I had them on my brushless Wraith and could not keep the beads in the wheels. I put the Cobra tires on Pro-Line FaultLine 2.2 and problem solved. The Proline wheel uses SLW hubs also. I would like to thank Locked up rc and Mayhem eng. for putting out quality wheels. I'm sure there are other great wheels out there but these are the one's I have. I will not list all the cheap junk wheels I have spent money on trying to save a buck.
