| 1.9 vaterra tsl's on 2.2 wheels
I have the opportunity to buy some 2.2 axial method beadlocks at a great deal. Do any of you think I will be able to stretch some 1.9 Vaterra tsl's onto them? If so how do you think they would look? I've seen some other 1.9's on some 2.2's and they look really sharp. Thanks for any and all help and suggestions. Wayne |

I tried the Vaterra tires on a set of Axial 2.2 wheels and they looked terrible. The wheel stretched them out so wide that most of the sidewall lug was now part of the contact patch. For the TSLs to look right, it would require a narrow 2.2 rim (26-28 mm range).

Here is a pic of them on wide jconcept 2.2s. Sidewalls are pretty soft so when you stretch them they bulge out

Thanks for the responses guys. Looneybin thanks for the pic. I like that look. Sorta looks like the shorter, fat look we used to rock on our 1:1 mud rigs back in the day. Wayne |
