Default 2.2 TSL's! Pics!

I took my Imex G-Hawgs and made em look like TSL's. Just had to cut 2 slits in each lug. Didn't take long to do and I think they turned out great! The wheels are Pede rears narrowed and painted black. Here's some Pics.

I did that to part of one tire here...dust kicked my ass (couldn't find mask) and I left it alone.

Completed tires look great!

I like it. Looks killer!

I wonder if there is any way to remove the big IMEX G HAWG on the sides without it looking funny?

Thanks for the compliments guys! The tires do pretty good. There's no foams inside and they work good on most rocks it seems. Smooth slick rock is a bit of a challenge but on jagged type rocks they grip good and wrap really well around obstacles.

rckjeep: Brilliant minds think alike don't they!

hpi_jeep: I used some Fiskars Multi Snips to cut em. I had another tool but I'm not sure what it's called. It's basically some short pliars with some sharp blades on it.

AdamF: Thanks! If you come up with a way to do that let me know ;)

sicj: Those tires look awesome! But the real tires don't have the center lugs like that so I added the slits to make em look like siped TSL's. Good job on em! A savage though??? Too bad they're not mounted on a real crawler! ....... just kidding! ;)

Tires look sweet, perfect for scale rig.

Don't let slbks5 get you down, he has recurring nightmares about "shafties".

Nice job on your tires!!! I just got done posting my cut Hawgs and I saw your post a few lines down. Not trying to steal your thunder.

I wish I snipped mine with some scissors and pliers. Man, Dremmeling them took some work, especially with no mask......black boogers for two days. Poor lungs.

Kick ass cman, I was going to use Swamp Dawgs on my Bruiser axles because the GHawgs just didn't have the look I wanted but after seeing your's I am gonna run a set of those. I love em. Way to read between the lines.

Now, could you show us how to make them look like TSL SX's??

Thanks guys! That's why I like posting stuff like this, so that others can use the ideas on their rigs. I won't take total credit for this idea as I'm sure others have thought of it also, like rckjeep and jasoninaugusta..........but I did post pics of em first!

CWDU, I like yours too! I've had the black boogers also! ....

Grizzly, I think they'll look great on you Bruiser! As for SX's ...give me some time and I just might! ;)
