Default Scaling down from 2.2 to 1.9

I'm relatively new to RC. I have a bomber that I mainly use for bashing rather than crawling. Running at higher speeds and occasional roll overs seems to be putting a lot of stress on my wheels. I've broken the hubs out of two. I'm wondering if going down a wheel size would help lower my C.O.G. and generally reduce stress on the steering, and what the tradeoffs would be. Thoughts?

Yes, plus it looks more scale. However, a Bomber on 1.9's looks horrible, almost like it skipped leg day, unless you put better axles under it. XR width AR44's would be ideal but I don't know of anyone that makes them. Normal AR44's are too narrow in my opinion.

What wheels are you breaking the hubs out of?

Sounds like a wheel design or material issue to me...

I have multiple sets of wheels and tires for mine and that particular issue has not happened.

The closest I've gotten is losing some hub bolts on my Gearheads until I went with longer ones and Locktite.

The plastic Evan Walkers that comp with the kit. Broke one and the my spares. Gonna order some incision wheels but debating what size.

For a Bomber, I would stick with a 2.2 and just get better wheels.

10-4 on that - plastic wheel hubs are a known weak spot on crawlers... too much torque!
