It really depends on what you want to do. The Voodoo U4 tires tend to excel in rock racing where as something like the Pro Line TSL or Pit Bull Rock Beast 2 tires are good crawling/trailing tires, however generally speaking, tires from any of the big well known companies all work pretty well in all conditions. The biggest part to any brand of tire is the foam; Crawler Innovations is the go too for that and either offer a 2 stage foam or a single stage firmer foam. Which one you use depends on preference and again, intended use. Foam can make or break a tires performance so I think most here will agree with me on that.

As for wheels, VP, Motoworx, Gearhead, DCW,etc all make high quality wheels. Which one you choose is what kind of style you like. Not really a "Hottest wheel" out right now as everyone has different tastes. Super Shafty did just come out with the 2.2 Prang wheel which seem to have a had a bit of a buzz lately. Yes there are cheaper off brand wheels and such out there, but I figured id give you the list of quality stuff (All of whom are vendors here too)

I didn't, it's forum default based on # of posts. You, being a dues-paying member, have the option to change yours in the User CP (CP = Control Panel). Not sure where the option is located, but it's probably under Edit Signature or Edit Options.

What's best for you could be absolutely terrible for me. That goes for anything in this hobby whether it's tires or motors it is all so completely subjective there is no way to quantify the results properly.
