Crawler Innovations Deuces Wild foams.

Although the newer Pitbull two stage foams are pretty good.

So after laying low for a few weeks after some bad choices on my part I've decided to post my .02 on these new tires. Got some Duratrax 2.2 scalers and couldn't be happier. I play on a small rock/trailer course in my back yard. These seem to be handling it like a champ. I also am running my ci foams too though. Soft front medium rear. For a budget tire they are pretty nice. But I play a lot in groomed hiking trials and stuff like that so I haven't tortued them yet. Duratrax for a good budget tire.

i got my set of duratrax 1.9 showdown and axial 1.9 8 hole wheels. i use them on a tamiya high lift chassis with rc4wd drive line. I like them. i crawl on some random rock piles that are jagged and these tires grip well. These grip on rough rocks better then the 2.2 proline flatland tires, i think that is the name, which i would use for trailing. thanks to all those that gave input on their experience with the tires.

They are around 5.75". I'm planning on getting some CI foams for them as I have a feeling this rig will have some weight to it.

I have a fair amount of driving time on my 1.9 showdowns and I have to say I am extremely impressed. They hook up even better than they look, and they look fantastic on my 1.9 wraith with big horsepower and wide Locked Up wheels, I will get pics up when I can. I just completed a very long comp at Rausch Creek in PA this weekend with them and they were awesome in the dirt and on the rocks. Absolutely loving them. I want to try the 2.2's on my big wraith now.

Will acetone take off the white letters on these? I'm not a fan of the lettering.

Should, I found that pulling and stretching the tires made them start to delaminate and then you could rub them off.

Lettering doesn't stay on too long if you drive in much dirt. Or run them on the inside since the lettering is only on one side.

Just picked up a set of the Deepwoods in the 2.2 flavor, initial impressions, I like em. The compound is super soft and pliable which will let the foams do their work. Going to test em out this weekend at the Fish Hatchery in Oroville at the Butte County Scalers comp. I'm super excited, can't wait!

I put some CI foams in my 2.2 Deep Woods a few weeks ago and it's a huge improvement. I went with firm in the front and medium in the rears (my Bomber is heavy). I've been crawling a few times, water both times and the CI foams made a noticeable improvement side-hilling. The tires do well with the stock foams if your just crawling but the roll. The CI foams stop the roll.

I did some bashing in Texas dirt Saturday with my son. I saw the most improvement at speed. I could drift my heavy ass Bomber without rolling and it was a blast. These tires kick up a nice roost which never gets old.

I have noticed more small rips and holes in the tires. I'm not going to fault the tires though because I have been beating the hell out of them lately. Easy to repair with some tire glue.

Hi

Any pictures to see how they sit on the bomber?
How well did these tires do crawling compared to the stock tires?

They look similar to TSL's anybody have compared/ run both these tires?
