Vent tires and wheels???
 

So I hear to cut a small hole in the tire or drill a small hole in the wheel to let air go out is this true if so how do I see if I need to

Yes, you ought to vent the tires. Foam is supposed to 'breathe'. I prefer to vent the tire rather than the wheel, because it's easier to get water out that way. I use a belt hole punch to make two or three holes in the tire.

I've always drilled the wheels so there is no risk of tearing a tire. I don't go I to water so that's a non point to me.

My setups that don't see water the rims get a single 1/16" hole. Tires that see water are sealed and/or have closed cell foams that are waterproof.

Mine sees no water as well so I'm guessing the wheel is better I dont want to tear the tire

So maybe one 1/16hole on the wheel would be ok

Four holes, 1/8 inch each in both the wheel and tire. Tires won't tear. Leather punch for the tires. Drill for the wheels.

Vent the wheels with 1/8 hole and if you find yourself near water just use a small piece of tape and cover your hole "thumbsup"

+1..Yea,leather punch is a good investment, under $10.. Tires wont tare
