Dang those Prolines look sweet and good width!

Proline's
Height: 4.35" (110mm)
Width: 1.42" (36mm)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Axial's look too wide
• Tire - 48mm x 119mm (1.9” x 4.7”)
• Bead - 1.9
• White Dot indicates R35 compound
• Fits most 1.9 wheels
• Two tires per package
• Standard tire foams included
I'm torn between the two. I really like the scale appeal of the Prolines though. The smaller lugs are spot on and would look great on my Hilux. Think I'm going order the Prolines
What about a comparison of performance, anyone? I just ordered the Axials, because I need the extra height, but I am curious about the performance of both versions.
The Axial KO2s and the stock foams have been doing very well for me on my SCX10 II. I have been able to follow everyone else with other more aggressive tires without any problem and sometimes even easier (ON ROCK). I haven't had them in any mud but I think they will pack up pretty bad (but do better than the Pro Lines). In really loose sand they require a little finesse with the throttle but it looks pretty cool watching them slowly dig and go forward. They do struggle a bit on loose dirt hill climbs but due to lug size and spacing I think that they would be better than the Pro Lines.
I run Prolines on about everything but when it comes to the KO2's and KR2's Axial put out great tires.
I just put the Prolines on my Ascender. Incredible tires, very scale. I have been super impressed with their performance, and had my mind set on buying new foams (because that is needed with every other tire apparently), but I mounted these up to try them out and have been really happy with them. I am not even going to order foams. These don't come with those ridiculous memory foams like the TSL's, they are a standard foam that's quite a bit firmer than ones that came in my Pitbull tires. They are single stage open cell. Time will tell but my initial runs have been awesome, and they look soooooo good!!
