Id be interested on any feedback on these tires as well. I Like the look and the reviews of the 1.9's seem pretty good even though there were not a whole lot of reviews.

Ive looked and have not found any reviews of these. I am intrigued but the size has me unsure.

Has anyone given them a try yet?

D-lux is running a pair on his MOA truck for rear tires. Looks like they wear pretty fast by the pictures.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread if it's an old thread, but I'm not sure if I've just come across a defect with my 2.2 Scorpios, or that it's something else.

The tires do actually run very well, but only 3 of them fit perfectly on my steel/aluminium beadlocks. The last one could not be locked in the beadlock wheel properly, the lip fits in and can be clamped down with the ring, but is loose enough for the tire to come off by pulling with medium force with my hands. This is not tight enough for trail crawling as the rotation force and grip still pulls the tire out of its beadlock wheel.
I've tried it with other 2.2 beadlock wheels (3 different ones), and all of them don't lock the wheel properly.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? or is it just a defect?
I'll post some pictures if requested.

I have my set on some axial 8 hole 2.2s for now. They mounted up easy, zero problems.

I really like mine. They are huuuge. A little stiff. Stock foams were way too stiff, but work perfect in my Radial baja claws Beads were very uniform and fit SLW wheels perfect. I don't have enough run time to say how they are traction wise, though the 1.9s are a great tire, I've got a lot of time on them.

I'm going to try them on my 1/6 Willy's that is a heavy body so stiff foam will be needed.

I love the scale tread pattern on that tire. ^^^^ Perfect width too. Is the actual diameter really over 5.5" tall?

Don't take offense but those look way better than what you had on there. First impressions on performance?

I think that they will have a lot of bit. They are soft compound and the tread is set up to be that way also. I used the XL 2.2 CI foams because of the tall side wall it will need them so that the wheel doesn't fold in hard turns ad side-hill rock climbing.
The tire is larger than the foams and that is a good thing because it lets them shape to the rocks.

This is the tire I pulled to go on my 1/6 Jeep. They are the 2.2 Rok Lox that are 5.58'' tall. I have been waiting for a 6'' tire for this build since 2008/09. ((((FINELY)))))

Big fan of the 2.2 scorpios here. They work really well on the rocks, fairly responsive in the dirt/faster stuff. The added height isn't so scale but the clearance is nice. CI deuces wild 2.2 talls are not quite tall enough, it leaves a weird excess IMO. The 2 stage (6.0) CI double deuce foams are the sweet spot, they fit and work well.

That size is a great fit on your 1/6 Willy's. I like these tires and J-Concepts in general, but they're too tall for anything I have. if they were to release a 5.25-5.5 I'd be one of the first to buy a set.

They are not for everyone. My Gladiator is 1/6 scale and is the reason that they work. They do not fit the scale Willy's Jeep but They could with some trimming.
