Well now that you put it that way I totally understand your argument/point and agree. The delivery of info was lacking. =) Anyone else got pics of these wheels? |

if you can water down your whiskey by 10% or use lower grade stuff and make a bigger return on it by offering it as a different product line, the WORST thing to do is tell your consumers its just watered down or lower grade... you find something about it to spin the offering to be more consumer related, like saying its blended to be more smooth or whatever. tough one for vp to change what was up until now THE hub design for alot of people. i own other wheels that dont run slw hubs, and guess what? i prefer to run slw based wheels... coming out with yet another propietary hub design (when the slw is arguably the standard) for a budget line of wheels kinda smacks the consumer with the reality that they are either going to be stuck with one offset or have to invest again in another set of hubs to get the width they want. thats my take on it anyway... the wheels look nice. | |

I picked up a set of the Incision Method 2.2 MR307 Clear wheels to with my Proline Flat Iron XL tires. Haven't put together to many beadlock wheels and tires so struggled on the first one to get the front beads to set correctly. Then finally figured out how and the next 3 went quick. I wonder if there will be an option for center caps for these... I already had so much black on my Bomber, i thought i would go with Silver and liked this style for my truck. I am still fairly new to this Hobby, only a couple of trucks and probably my first real decent set of Wheels. No more plastic ones, lol...

This hub going to work with you high steer knuckles? Because currently have to run a .475 hub and that brings the steering rod ends VERY close to the side wall |

Harley has these on his budget bomber build with a stage 1 VP kit. Therefore I am assuming he doesn't have any issues with them?

I got my Incision KMC 2.2 Grenades today. My only gripe is that the screw bags were short on all three types of screws that come with the wheels. I called my hobby shop and was told that other sets he sold were missing screws. He didn't bother to mention it when I was buying mine. I had replacements for the missing 3mm screws, but not for the missing 2-56 screws. Now I guess I will have to wait until Monday to contact Vanquish and have them send more screws. The screw bags were fully sealed, so this is how they were shipped. Pretty disappointed. Reminiscent of when I got my Incision spools and they wouldn't fit my diff ring gears. Vanquish replaced them but it's still disappointing having to wait. I was able to build a couple of them, so here are a few shots of the completed ones. The fit and finish is great, and I really like the styling. I'm glad I bought them. I just wish they would ship complete. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That's a very clean truck Sammy J. I like your body panels. What nets did you use? What is that aluminum plate in front for? Maybe sand out the rings? Also, the left front inside bead isn't holding! Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk Last edited by DowntownScience; 07-31-2016 at 12:33 AM. |

Thanks for catching the loose bead! The nets are the Lego 10x10 cargo nets. I found them on ebay. The stainless plate is a servo winch mounting plate by Wertymade. I'm thinking about sanding the "rings". I wanted to see it all black on the vehicle first. The plastic beadlock included in the kit appears to be a little wider than the Incision wheel. The kit stock plastic beadlock wheel is on the left. Also, the stock wheel, with a Vanquish 350 hub has a slightly wider offset. Stock plastic beadlock with 350 SLW hub. Incision wheel with Incision hub. There us no clearance problem with the new wheel on my truck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by Sammy J.; 07-31-2016 at 08:36 AM. |
