New Incision wheels coming....

I follow Harley on Facebook. He gave a sneak peak of the new Incision wheels that are coming out. Says they will be $99-$120 for 4 wheels. Size 1.9 and 2.2.

Although not mentioned, I am assuming this is them on his bomber budget build?

I thought he used Axial Methods with VP hubs? The new wheels in packages look nice though.

Re: New Incision wheels coming....

Not sure. In his last budget bomber video he still had the stock wheels, but then he kept saying he was going to upgrade his wheels next and mentioned a "surprise" or "something new"...

Re: New Incision wheels coming....

two of the packaged sets are definitely Method Holes:
Hole | Matte Black | Method Race Wheels

the wheels on Harley's Bomber don't look to be a licensed design, but i could be wrong... they're definitely not Methods, but maybe KMC Grenade?

Sad that an admin of this site, and a long term post whoring member who is now an employee of Vanquish, who is a sponsor here, can't even bother to post them here, where he started.

Yikes, I hope I didn't get anyone in trouble.

You are correct about the kmc grenade. Harley mentioned it on his IG, its part of the Incision line too.

Wow those are some ugly wheels (the full scale ones). Hope they look better on an RC.

You mean the dude that is at axial fest right now for the official release of this product line?

You had better be playing with your toy trucks this weekend, EeePee. If you want to criticize the level of involvement of Harley, look hard at your own involvement in this hobby before passing judgment. The main involvement I see from you lately is publicly shaming on RCC. Do something productive, because your bitching isn't.

You mean playing video games making believe you're a race car driver and watching you tube videos isn't productive? Huh, who knew?

I find it a bummer that a MOD finds it acceptable to hate on another member because he hasn't done whatever specific action is thrown on the table.

Harley won't officially announce them here until after the launch at axialfest. It has been specifically stated that it will occur there. He is there now, actually doing it. Now is not the time for armchair quarterbacks to whine about how they want to see information about a set of wheels that they will never purchase.

Re: New Incision wheels coming....

I'll tell you what I know about the wheels from my limited knowledge. They can be made nice and light because they lack the trim ring and hardware. It is the same style as the Method Roost wheels, a simple clamshell Method Roost 1.9 Wheel Black Anodized - Vanquish Products

Less expensive machining detail, VP quality, lower price, and probably light weight. I'm a fan of the Roost wheels for sure, these should be very nice too.

Well said!! I just got back from a week long ban for sharing your opinion in a different way.:lmao:

I can understand where EeePee is coming from. Whether Harley is officially or unofficially telling people about a product he could've taken the two minutes to post them here. He posted them on FB so why not here? I may be the only one left in this galaxy without a FB account but FOMO still isn't enough reason for me to get one. Harley prides himself on being one of the original founders here on RCC and rightfully so. It would just be cool if he threw us more bones here as well as he does on Instagram and FB and other Social networks that I couldn't care less about. In any case, I can't wait to see the new wheels and thanks to DRM for bringing this to our attention.

Re: New Incision wheels coming....

Harley isn't a founder, he just has admin rights.

Posts from Instagram are super easy to make aND share directly into facebook. Posting on rcc from a phone at an event is not as fast or easy by a long shot, rcc really requires a computer and photo software to make a post the right way.

No. Posting doesn't require anything more than a phone with a data connection and the will to make the post.

JohnRobHolmes 07-15-2016 08:16 PM

Re: New Incision wheels coming....

No right back at you. I have to resize every photo with a horrible bit of phone software before rcc will take it. The process is easily 10 fold the time of using Instagram. The quality and ease of posting on RCC from a desktop is far better for somebody that does it for a living.

This forum platform is no competition for Instagram. It's almost like Instagram is so easy that it became popular...

Re: New Incision wheels coming....

Photobucket.com auto resizing when uploaded. Damn, that was hard. :lmao:

I haven't powered up my laptop to do anything but adjust castle products in about a year. I am all over the net exclusively on my phone with no apps or stupid forum viewers. Chrome mobile on an Android makes life real easy.
