I spent alot of time on these bitches. I Narrowed them to three inches, undercut the side lugs to make them flex, grooved the lugs and glued Savage lugs on. They are super flexy, and woork well. I'm happy.

I see that the tires have a lot of flex. Did you drill air holes in the rims?

I did'nt drill air holes. There is a slit in the inner sidewall. Its where I ad BBs. I found that the tires will flex well if you cut the lugs into three sections and undercut the side lugs. They are way to stiff and keep the tire from flexing. They were to soft so I made seven by four inch foams. That kept the sidewall from swaying in off camber situations. The space between the inside of the tire and the foam lets the BBs roll around and allows for a good footprint. In the pics I was using six inch foams. I may switch back to those.

Way cool tires, how long did it take for each tire?

Around fifteen or twenty hours. That includes thinking, cutting, grooving, glueing, and sanding. I worked on it for a few hours at a time. I'm still not done.

No! Well maybe. If it fit a particular design or something.

nice treads man I love the flex on the side wall! I do have one qwestion , are you worried about the slit ripping with age? on is it small enough that it doesn't flexx with the rest of the tire?

Not relly, I keep an eye on it. One ripped a little. I like to be able to add or subtract BBs. I think I will glue a small piece of rubber on each side to keep it from ripping. The slit does open when the sidewall flexes but the foam seals the hole.
