Pit Bull Rock Beast XL Tire Test Video
 

I had a chance to catch several SCX10 based rigs at LRC running on the Rock Beast XL tires. The overall impression was pretty much what everyone expected, the tires are awesome. Thought I would share this video here for anyone debating whether or not they should try out a set for themselves.

Feel free to leave your own thoughts of these tires in this thread, I am interested in what the thoughts are around how these tires could impact the comp scene in particular.

It's definitely a good tire. Could I give you some advice on your video? Please don't let Youtube stabilize it for you. It makes me think I'm losing my vision!

I agree, the video is fine but do not let Youtube stabilize it because your video has that terrible wavy distortion to it afterwards.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I am reverting the video back to the original to remove the stabilization now. Should be done in a few minutes.

Back to original and it does look better.

I was even impressed with the stock foams in these tires as well!

I think it's better now, despite the occasional shaking and whatnot. The problem with Youtube's free stabilization is that it adds some horrible warping in an effort to stabilize the footage at times, and in your case it was seemingly happening the whole video. Random parts of the foreground and background just shrinking and growing, etc.

Cool video, really cool area. It's like an RC crawler skate park. RBXLs are fantastic tires.

Thanks, and yes that place is amazing, the video really only shows a very small portion of the park. Now that the weather is cooling off we will be spending more time out there for sure!
