Wonder if Cheap Chinese RC tires will be included in the new tariff? There might be a run on eBay before it goes live.

I bought a set of the swamper tsl austar tires earlier this week after reading and talking with a few that have them. Just waiting for the slow boat now. Which so far is the only down fall.

Have you run them yet? I just picked up a Barrage Doomsday that I want to convert into a crawler/trail truck. Because it's a smaller truck, I want a smaller tire, and these look just right.

you can go up to 105mm for class1

I would want something a little more aggressive than an all terrain tire.

I'm not competing, so the maximum size doesn't really concern me. I just want something that looks appropriate on a 10" wheelbase.

You can get them substantially cheaper here. I'm leaning toward these with some inexpensive aluminum 1.9s for my Barrage.

They're a little taller than I'd prefer, but they sure are cheap.

I’ve got both the Dirt Grabber and Mud Country knockoffs.

The grabbers look proper scale on my D90 and they seem to grip ok. Quite stiff walls with silly foams. They’ll be ok for a scale trail rig I think. Just too small for what I needed.

The Mud Country copies are bigger. Measuring 103mm. The width is cool and they grip well everywhere I have had the D90 in or over. Foams are SOFT but I like it like that on the truck they’re on.

Cannot beat them for the price.

And the tire wear isn’t bad either.

Thanks for the review. I've got both sets on the way myself. I picked up a cheap set of the dirt-grabber style pre-mounted for about $10 on Ebay, and picked up the Mud Country style tires from the Gearbest link that I plastered above.

In a month when they get here, I'll be sure to tell everybody how they are.

I put the Austar Chyrax on my boys trucks and was impressed that they followed me everywhere my truck went with Proline Hyrax on it. All 3 trucks running CI Lil Nova's.

I put a set of the Austar TSLs (4.5") on my TRX4, with CI DW foams. The tires do very respectable for the price, but it's obvious they aren't as good as the Proline TSL XL's, with CI DW foams on my G6. I would judge them prob 80% as good?

For the money, especially if you're buying tires for several trucks, they are a good value. IMO, if you're only buying 1 set of tires and you've had the real deal Proline's to compare them against, you may not be 100% satisfied.

The austar tsl measure 4.5"?

They advertised at 110mm which is 4.33" what wheel do you have them on?

I had some old 4.25 flat irons in g8 which those came alive after curing the tread up a lot. But they were on a mrc I had.

I think you are correct, I just knew they weren’t 4.75

Ok. You scared me a bit I was looking for the small tsl for my Blackfoot baroncho. The stocks were 4.1ish kinda small and the treps I have 4.6 are kinda big. The austar tsl at 4.3 would be just right. And once they wear out ill get the proline tsl in small flavor.

Proline tires, which are as cheap as great tires get, won't be affected by tariffs since they are made in the USA.
