Default New 1.9 ECX Falken Wildpeak AT3W

Didn't see a thread started for the new ECX 1.9 Falken Wildpeak AT3W, so I figured I would.

I just recently purchased the Jeep JK from a member and changed the tires wheels. I decided to try out the these new tires, I really love the scale look of them on this rig. I mounted them on a set of RC4WD Dick Cepek Gun Metal 7. They mounted up very nicely, no issues. Haven't had time to test it in the dirt yet though...

Great option for a scale look, fore sure! I don't imagine they're the best performers out there by any means, but they might hold their own

They look good on there. Perfect for a Daily Driver/weekend warrior build

Yeah, I've been really tempted to pick some up. They look fantastic. They seem reasonably soft when I was pawing them at my LHS. Just not sure how "sticky" they'll be. If they were a few buck cheaper I might already have them by now. I may still get them at some point.

I think they'll be perfect for this rig, it will see mild dirt and gravel mostly. Kinda looks like all the mall crawler JKs you see with a bit of lift and nice wheels/tires...

+1 I agree. They look great and much softer than I assumed they would be. I gotta have a set now.

Those are nice! What's the compound comparable to?

To me they feel similar to the Axial R35 tires... the foams they come with are not as soft though. That's just my humble opinion though, as I'm purely basing that off how the feel, not how they perform. That was my first impression when I opened the package though. The bead is a bit narrow, but still mounted up very easy.

Very scale looking tires and they look great on your jeep.
I have a set that came on an rtr Barrage. I removed them from the stock rims and put them on some black plastic Gmade bead locks.
I haven't had a chance to test them yet but I'm impressed with their looks and they sure seem to be a soft grippy compound.
At the least I think they will be fine for trailing and light duty crawling.

R35 is kind of lagging behind these days, but it's not too bad.

Agreed.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised though, when these tires seemed better to me than I was expecting... That's much better than the opposite, which seems to happen a lot more...

I think we've all had the tire flavor of the month let down so I understand what you're saying.

I just had to get a set. Here is a quick pic of them on my yota. I'm currently gathering parts for a LC80 Land Cruiser build and I think these tires will look great on it. We'll see.

I have a TF2 that's about the same color. Those wheels and tires look great on there

Great, now I have to buy a tf2

Absolutely killer, tires look awesome on there. Plenty of 1:1 yotas out here with less aggressive 37s-40s.
