I'm curious about these but I like the width and look of the Axials sooo much more...

I don't get why more people aren't running these? They look awesome IMO. I'd really like to hear some review on how they compare to the other similar sized tires: Hyrax, TSL XL, RBXL. Anyone able to give some feedback?

Krawlers are my go to comp tire right now when its dry or dry/wet mix on slick rock. I still use Hyrax on wet only. If rock is good and soil is minimal I use Rc4wd Compass. Those are my current tires that go with me every event.

We run on real dirt and sandstone, this tire has become my favorite. seems to me to be every bit as good as the Hryax but looks so much better. I have them on my Axial Blazer and they performed just as good and pulled all the same lines as my friends truck with portal axels and Hyrax tires with lots of other mods.

Wait you are running 4.25 foams in a 4.75 tire? how do they perform? Have I been running the wrong size in them, I've been running the 4.50 dual stage.

This size foam feels perfect for these tires and I am confident they are going to perform really well. Very good spacing between the lugs and of course, P-L's sticky G8 compound. The pics show them right out of the bags, I still have to give them a bath in some Castrol Super Clean (Purple Power).

Looking forward to seeing how they perform out on the rocks.

I don't vent my tires because of all the liquid sunshine we get in the winter so I prefer to run smaller foams with a slight air-gap so that the tire can conform and grip the rocks.

I think the most important factor here is the weight of the truck. I suppose 4.50 is the standard here.

Im running 4.5 mediums all round as the car has a bit of weight to it.

Could possibly get away with 4.75 soft all round too.

Predator compound is out now. https://www.prolineracing.com/tires/...ruck-tires.asp
Not sure about the 4.19 size though. Would be sweet though

I am tired of all the 4.75" monster truck tires.
The Krawler is my favourite tire design but it's just too big for my rig.

4.75's are great for comp...scale not so much.

PB rockbeast in 4.5 looks and works great - pic below. They all grip pretty well, so rig setup and balance is a bigger factor. And driver skill.
Basically stock, except for the tires, and some added wheel weights...this thing really climbs - way beyond what I would have guessed.

I have the tires this thread is based on - they're fine...nothing special. I still think the Hyrax out-grips them all. And the new predator compound is so soft the tires just shred - I have the TSL's and they're shedding rubber every run.

I’d buy a set of 4.19 Krawlers if they came out. 4.75 is just too big for my TJ.

I love these tires on my trx4 bronco. The look is very scale, they grip very well. I’ve been running trails mostly with this truck, lots of rain lately and falling leaves/pine needles. But they grip everything and get the truck up everything I come across. Would net hesitate buying a set. If you like the look of them, just buy them, they’ll perform as well as they look

I’m running the CI double deuce 1.9 xl single stage comp cut foams in the front and the CI lil nova 4.5” comp cut inners with medium outers in the rear. I do a lot of side billing and was worried about tire food with the heavier rig but have no problem with this set up. I think the 4.25” foams would be a bit too soft for a trx4 though. I also vent my tires so that’s a factor too.
