Biceps, you know what, or I found where the tusks came from.

Still in the planning stages, not much interest for some reason...

I got mine. Maybe I'm too used to ProLine beads, but these beads are too thin. The tires do not play well with Incision wheels. They were a PITA to mount and even after half a dozen tries one tire would not seat completely on the Incision wheel.

The compound reminds me of RC4WD X2SS. It doesn't blow me away like I had hoped.

The foams aren't great either. I don't see them holding up very long - either compound. And they are soft. They hold my 7 pound Ascender find, but I don't vent tires.

Overall they're worth the money after my backyard test, but nothing mind blowing.

I'm interested to see how they do out on the trail in tougher terrain.

Thanks. I agree. Perfect size for the K5 body.

You guys are all seriously twisted. I approve

After watching Chris Rappell pull off a couple of vertical climb outs I'm gonna have to try some of these.

Jato: Did you get soft or super soft? (the tires, I mean)...

Razorback hogs have tusks, too. All over Texas. Don't get one pissed at you when you're too close, they will tear you up.

Javelinas as well. A little less common here, but there are more further south.

Thanks for the animal lesson. Again, tusk = badass. Does the Chupacabra have tusks?

So maybe Boom can do a V2 and just make the outside lugs parallel with each other, then we can call it scale since Firestone is releasing this:

Any updates on these tires? Do they get better with age?

I got my set in the mail yesterday.. Mounting them on my RC4wd Wagon wheels.. I like them a- lot so far the look the feel the foams..They are replacing my rip-saws on my scx10.. I like the way the foams support the side wall a lot more than my stock rip saws.. The inside bead could be a bit longer to help mounting on beadlocks but didn't have much of a problem..

I dunno I like the tusks big time!

Ill be feeling like a badass once these are on for sure..
hahah

been running these since pre order, now mounted on locked up rc wheels, mounted up perfectly, couple of mins per wheel.
mainly in dirt hills as its close to home and some rock on the ocean edge, they grip well on my little hill climb (red clay dirt) will dig down and bury if given enough throttle and I'm quite surprised at the grip on the rocks so far.
they are on the small side, but still sticky.

couple of pics of the little play area I have atm.

Hey Snicklefritz

long time no see. Still like the Hustler tires? How did the super soft do in the heat?
Just getting back into crawling and think I am in need of some new tires for the scx10. The old cut treps I think are wearing out

Are these considered scale if there modeled after a it tire and not a truck tire?

Well Pitbull is releasing their ATV tires as scale tires so I'd say they're fine, as long as they look believable.
