Default Getting Tiny Screws Out of Plastic Wheels

This may be an old, well known trick, but I'll pass it along anyway. If you are having a hard time getting very small allen head screws out of your plastic wheel rimlocks, try heating the head with a soldering iron for about 8-10 seconds, depending on how big the screw is. Immediately after heating the screw should come out pretty easily. If not, heat it some more.

If your rim locks are plastic and you want to save them, be careful not to touch them with the iron or heat the screw too long. A soldering iron will melt that plastic in an instant if you touch it or leave on too long.
