| Re: 1.9 Goodyear MT/R To me that's a problem. Why have 2 different classes if they are going to blend together. In the real world on a well built rig people don't often run tires larger than 40-42" which would be 4-4.2" in scale size. But to argue the other way, just because you can buy a larger tire doesn't mean it's the best choice. It won't side hill as well (I know different foams can help) and can raise the COG of the truck. I am just a fan of keeping it scale. Others are fans of making th most capable rig possible no matter how it looks. Guess it's good we have choices.

I took my hard bodied (Blazer = HEAVY) SCX10 II with plastic axle housings and OG size Rock Beasts to the same spot as my lexan bodied SCX10 II with VP Curries and Proline TSL XL tires, and I had much more fun with my hard bodied deal. Same length of shocks, dual stage foams in both. Just because the tire is taller doesn't mean it'll run circles around a bit smaller tire. Knowing how to drive helps too! I really like the look of these MTR's. I do wish they would've stuck to the 4.5" range, but from a business perspective I understand why they went 4.75". They're in business to make money, and larger tires sell because a lot of guys think bigger = better, which isn't always the case. |

I bought a set of 1.9s at Axialfest. I took them out for a run with the stock foams and they really did great, but I could tell once the foams broke in they are going to be a bit soft, so I stuck a set of CI foams in them. 4.75" with soft outer up front and medium outer in the rear. Unfortunately, the only courses I ran after that swap were pretty easy so I cant say how much of a difference this made. My buddy was running a set on course I (the hardest course) and they didnt hook up as well as my Hyraxes on the slick dusty rock. This could have been due to a combination of things since his truck was having suspension issues. I'm very happy with the looks of them and cant wait to get some more run time on them! |

Grabbed two sets of these at Axial Fest. One in the 1.9 and one set in the 1.7. Got a comp today and wanted to see how these will do, so I pulled my Hyrax and mounted up these sweet 1.9 Wrangler MT/R beasts. I have to say, based on looks alone these are sexy! We'll see how they do on the rocks! I'm running CI foams for better support of weight on my rig, we'll see how they do today. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk |

The drivers side tires are on backwards. But they sure do look good!

| Re: 1.9 Goodyear MT/R I noticed the truck on RC4WD website is the same so its probably gonna confuse some. The row of tight spaced tread blocks goes towards inside of truck. Even tho they are a directional tire one side will look backwards to those that havent been around them. Awesome tires.

I grabbed a 2.2 for my boy’s FJ and some 4.19 for a build I’m working on currently. I had to test the out on my Kaiser. I really liked the stock foams that came in the 4.19 tires. I used CI DD and DW in the 2.2. I. Was very pleased with their performance. I was able to pull some really good lines with the 2.2. I flipped my Kaiser and busted up the side and interior when I was almost shot by one of my boys with a slingshot. On to some photos. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I am reading that they are asymmetrical but not directional so pick your poison. Mount them how you wish. I just picked up the 4.75 version. The new compound feels amazing and the foams feel great too. I am impressed. I wasn't going to run a tire this tall on my trx4 but when I saw how narrow these were I couldn't help myself. They scale out to a 41" tire on the trx4 so not too huge really.

I really want to press the buy it now button but the large tread spacing is holding me back. Just looks a bit too much like a cut Bogger tread spacing haha

They don’t perform like a cut Bogger tire. They work SOOOO much better. RC4WD really found a great compound in these tires. | |

They're sold out practically everywhere... I'm debating 1.7" versions with the same outer diameter. I'd love to order a set! (EDIT: Ordered, along with RC4WD Raceline Monster 1.7 Beadlocks, in black w/silver rings and a new K10 Ascender cab) Last edited by durok; 01-07-2018 at 01:13 AM. |

These tires do work excellent! Seen a pair run the other day and was impressed how well they kept with PL Swampers!
