Wow... on C1 tires, the Bronco looks like it skipped leg day! I'd would almost have to lower it just to match the smaller tires.

More than the height of the Bronco with 4.19's, my issue is the exaggerated wheel openings. They are huge compared to the real one which makes the smaller tires look funny.

Totally agree. It’s a common theme for most lexan bodies unfortunately.

You would think it would be the opposite. It's easy to cut away excess Lexan, so why not start with smaller wheel openings, and let us trim away as needed. Especially since there's a trend toward the C1 scalers.

No we are looking for side by side photos of the 1.9 mtr in both the 4.75 and 4.7 versions. 2 pics of them unmounted to view height and width to see real world differences

I lowered bronco body by 8mm with class1 tires. It looks much better that way.

I cant tell if its the fender openings or the body is very large, but 4.19s still look small for a Bronco.

Just my opinion.

@sawhead are those China beadlocks? I'm looking at the 4.19 MTR for my C1 and wonder how they mount to China beadlocks, say, the ones from RC Lion. Thanks!

1.55 MT/R can be easily mounted to boom racing terra beadlocks.
I used that for my yeti jr 1/18

I have 4.19 MTR on amazon beadlocks. Many sets of amazon beadlocks work with them so far. Its the RC4WD steeelies that seem to let go of the inner bead after some use. At least my wagon ones do that. Not sure about the normal narrow ones.

I have both the 4.19 and the xl version. They are mounted with the heavy lug to the inside. I get a better side hill/off camber bite with the small lug to the outside. Stock foams mounted to Proline 2769-03 wheels.

So i am a teamdriver for a small German seller who recently developed a new kind of foam. Based on a closed cell, but with the flexibility of a Dual stage like 'Lil nova's. First batch i tested on my PB RB's XL. Second batch with a small but significant change will be tested on different tires. Never was a fanboy of RC4WD tires due to experiences in the past. But reading all this made me decide to order some 4.75's MT-R's.
Looking forward to run 'm on my custombuild Comp'rig.
I am very interested to see how this "new" compound will do in combination with that tread pattern.

I love these tires but my only complain is that they're not symmetrical or mirrored, so on side is always reversed.

That's how the real ones are. I like it personally.

Anyone have pics of the wide 1.9 MT/Rs mounted up? I have mine on the deep dish wagon wheels, but the darn wheels are so wide I can't use them on my rigs. I need another wide wheel without all of the negative offset. I REALLY want to roll the wide MT?Rs on my UMG10.

Gearhead Ez-loc wheels tend to be extra wide... flip the centers for different offsets:

I thought this was the 1.55 MT/R

For 1.9, there is always the eBay Chanquish wheels.
They are available in 25mm and 35mm wide
