Default SSD assassin wheels, dueces wild, pro line super swampers a no go

Well I learned a tough lesson tonight. I tried to mount up a new set of pro line TSL super swampers to a set of SSD assassin wheels with dueces wild foams. 3 of 4 had the bead poo out when finished. Upon disassembly I found 3 of 4 beads cut by the wheels. Not happy.

What wheels work with these huge proline beads?

What glue are you all using to do cut and shuts? I need to glue the beads back onto my tires.

SSD makes Pro-Line versions of all 2.2 versions of their wheels specifically because of the bead differences.

2.2 WHEELS

(FYI)

Also the Proline compatible rings for our wide wheels will be available soon.

How soon?

Wide wheels? These came with a wraith I purchased. Not sure if they are wide or normal. Guess I'll have to measure.

I hated the tires he had on them so I bought the super swampers to find out I destroyed the beads with the wheels. Ugghhhh.

Looking at your page, all I could find was assassin wheels in wide. Did you used to sell a narrow version?

Yes we used to make narrow wheels last year. We also use to make narrow Proline compatibility rings (SSD00114) but I doubt you will be able to find them now.

RC4WD 2.2 Proline compatibilty rings will work on those (and any of our old narrow) wheels: 2.2 Proline Tire Compatible Internal Beadlock Rings

Is this problem the same when fitting 1.9 proline tyres to SSD 1.9 wheels too?

No.

1.9 Proline tires are not so different to others that a separate ring is needed.

Another question, would these proline tsl super swampers tires perform better on the narrow wheels or the wide wheels?
