Default Pitbull pbx 2.2 - do you like them?

Have been testing my new pbx 2.2 and is a bit disapointed with the performance. My plan was to use them on my C3 rig to replace my cut and shaved ripsaws. Cleaned of the residue and cut the foams down a bit. Have not tested them after that was done.

What's your experience with the 2.2 pbx?

Don't have any experience with these but I can say that your results aren't surprising looking at the tread design. I'd cut out half of the lugs, should be decent then.

Tested them in a local comp today, and got a better impression.
The wired thing is that do really well on dirt an soil, and not as good on rocks.
Overall I'm quite pleased with them now. I like the fact that they do not dig straight down in loose dirt.

Tires and foams take driving time to break in, how long have you DRIVEN them? Did you clean the mold release off before using them?

I know right. Well at least that's what I though when I got my 1.9's.

As is those things hook on everything, they crawl much better then my OG rockbeasts. At first I had them on my lexan rig and they where good, then I put them on my heavier hard body rig and they performed even better.

Have been given them some time to break in. Used simple green to wash off mold release.

Had a buddy that ran these on a very lightweight truggy. It was dry and the thing out performed all the other rigs on the trial that day and he was very impressed with them, my first impression was to buy a set but I just couldnt convince myself after really examining the tread.. but a little cutting and you may have a solid tire
