Default 2.2 Classic Alcoa Dually wheels, internal beadlock

Well, I'm working on a new tow rig, and always love the look of the shaved classic Alcoa semi wheels, so I downloaded Fusion 360 and made my own.

Built them to use SLW hubs, and made them a bit narrower (30mm) since I'm stretching 1.9 Axial BFG All-Terrains over them.

Well, they came in the mail today, just under a 2 week turnaround time from shapeways, went with the strong and flexible, polished option.

I have 4-40 acorn wheel studs on the way from LockedUp, which 2 of per wheel will hold the center caps on.

Brilliant idea with the center retention.

Nice work!

I had a friend draw up and print some 2.2 semi truck wheels for my cxt build.
Szczerba's Build #60, 5th CXT

You may want to reduce the thickness on the bead to have the wheel sit flush with the tire bead. Learned that on our first test print set and reduced it on the final print.

Thanks! I went a little thick on the bead on purpose, but mainly because I wasn't sure of the strength of the print.

Build #60 is looking good!

Here's how the wheels turned out, just painted them black for now, but the truck made it to Crawlapalooza 2017!
