|  Mounting 1.5 tires on 1.9 wheels possible?
So I've got these cool Mickey Thompson 1.5 Baja Claw tires, but one wheel broke. Would it be possible to mount them on 1.9 wheels, either glue-on Walker Evans or China beadlock (I have both)? What kind of hacking would I need to do?   |

Yup, you can usually get them to fit. No modifications to the wheels required, just stretch the tires on.

Just finished mounting my first set like this. Went on quite easily. I trimmed the inside of the foams a bit to work with the larger inner rings, so my tires weren’t too hard.  |

Mine look really puffed out on the sides near the wheels, and skinny near the tread. Maybe I just need to run some oversized foams to get it to match. Or try different wheels.

It can be done. It's a pain in the rear, and they definitely end up as balloons
