I've had good results with boiling the tires.

Watch this video he explains how he unmounted Axial RTR wheels from the tire.

lol OP and harley trucks were glued on with 2 drops of elmers glue from axial.
aint no way this would ever work on a real consumer glued tire.

I only suggested he watch the video cause he was asking about unmounting a Axial RTR wheel.
I personally use acetone in a sealed Tupperware container and let it sit for 12 hours. With excellent results but your inserts will be garbage

I just had awesome success boiling the Canyon Trails off the RTR TR-X wheels. About 25 mins boiling and they popped right off. Super clean and very little glue residue left on the tires.

Thanks everyone for your input. I was looking to remove the tires from the rims and reuse the tires. Based on the info you have provided I'm leaning toward leaving the tires on the wheels and just getting new tires to bolt on the beadlock wheels I have. I can probably sell the tires and wheels complete and pay for the new tires with what I get for them. Thought of that first and should have gone that way at the start.

I've sure ruined some tires using the toaster oven method! I've never seen this, but am sure excited to give it a try!

Used this method tonight, worked like a charm! Hardest part for me was finding a regular 60 watt bulb in my house. I do have a tiny bit of leftover glue on the tire, but nothing I’m concerned with. Thanks for the tip.
