| Mtr 4.75 size
Anyone have 4.75 mtr's they can put next to other 4.75ish tires? I have pretty much every tire so I have an idea there size. Hoping they will work on my new build.

So I got my mtrs and they are awesome. They measure 4.82 with proline duel sage on a .75 ring wheel. Softer most gripping tires iv ever owned. There new rubber is awesome.

3rd set from the left and all of these are with their respective stock foams not in any wheels. I did not care for them myself as the rubber is super thin and I think it’ll tear in the woods easily. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

| Re: Mtr 4.75 size They are my fav as of now. I was not a fan of Rc4wd tires till these came out and I love the 1.1 so I had to try them and I'm much impressed. I live in the dry side of Washington but its wet and slick here now and they do awesome!

They are a bit narrower than most of the other 4.75" tires out there, but height wise they are pretty similar. I had 4.75" CI Lil Nova foams in mine and I think due to the width they were a bit too big. I swapped out to 4.5" and it seems better. I still haven't gotten around to driving it since the foam change though.

Went ahead and ordered some the other day. They are every bit of the advertised 4.75 lol definitely narrow too which I'm thrilled about.

The biggest drawback for me is the fact that I like the look and extra traction some sidewall lugs give a tire. These are lacking that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by sawhead; 01-01-2018 at 10:14 AM. |

| Re: Mtr 4.75 size While it looks cool the only place an aggressive sidewall or side lugs is good is in mud. They deflect off rocks and hop and bounce where a side wall like the mtr's krawlers and kr2 give you a solid grip when running them against rocks. So really it all depends on where you live I guess.

I have a set of the 1.7 MTR's with 1.5 CI foams. These are going on my upcoming TJ build. I absolutely love the look of these and they feel like they are made to hook up.

I can see that as I don’t have much experience in rocks. My terrain is mostly hard packed dirt/clay, leaf littered forest floor and roots where side lugs play a big part in some extra grip when it’s run up against dirt walls and such Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk | |
