Imex tires Whats going on with Imex they used to be in every LHS with some of the best stocking, now they dont even stock anything online anymore, Also there service is next nothing if you got any questions. About a year ago we ordered a set a rims and they didnt charge us till way latter and were very rude about the card not working at the time, Then I didnt need the items anymore as it took so long we found them used locally and they where down right pissed when cancel a minor order. But I still liked some of there larger monster truck rims and tires, only to find out almost everything is out of stock, and no online stores dont sells there stuff anymore. |
Re: Imex tires Their tires have always been garbage. Good riddence. |
Re: Imex tires Looks like you have fan club how nice. I run the clod puller and jumbo tires, so i do like them for my uses |
Re: Imex tires Nice... after the holidays we got 'em coming out of the woodwork... "thumbsup" Glad you enjoy their products. Sounds like you have to deal with less-than-stellar business practices to purchase them. No need to let us know how that turns out for you... BTW - As I do try to be helpful - here's my recommendation: Monster Truck Tires |
Re: Imex tires I still have some J Hawgs on Maximizer beadlocks on the old 3906 E Maxx :) Pair of Reedy Badd Maxx 19t 550's she's a axle twisting mofo |
Re: Imex tires Only Imex tires I really went after where the “Swamp Dawgs”. At the time it was the only tire similar to the Interco Bogger, this was before Rc4wd made a 3.8 liscensed version of it. Very hard to find now though last time I checked they did have them in jumbo (1/5) size. |
Re: Imex tires Running a set of 2.2 swamp dawgs tomorrow for our trail run. Snow, mud, and plenty of other gunk. Only time of year I run them https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4649/...a144ac19_o.jpg |
Re: Imex tires I have money on standby for a set of 2.2 swamp dawgs. Been looking for a set for ages. Anyone with a set for sale send me a message. |
Re: Imex tires There was a set in the FS section a few weeks ago |
Re: Imex tires Quote:
I would check ebay, when I checked Imexs website last year and got the impression they were not making them anymore, I checked EBay, a couple folks did have them and they were in great shape. A full set of 2.2s and another seller with some 3.8s w/ extenders for dually style. |

I have a set glued to black wraith wheels. Comp cut just like the tires on the jeep picture. |
Re: Imex tires If there's a better tire for churning though ...well, swamps, I don't know what it is. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4724/...5b159edd_b.jpg |
Re: Imex tires Thanks for the offer white-trash. If they were stock and not cut I would be getting your info from you. Wayne |
Re: Imex tires No worries they'll stay on the shelf only getting bolted on when I'm headed to the sand. |
Re: Imex tires So any idea why they are never any tires in stock at imex, Id like to see back in stock the jumbo claw, jumbo swamp, jumbo kong/swamp with wheel kit, Clod puller and 2.2 swamp.... I tryed emailing them a few times with no return. Why pay to have a website and not offer anything, i think in this case the stupid people that sell them out of florida are worse, than the chineses making them. |
Re: Imex tires Quote:
Back in the day, they went just as good, and with the right cutting better than most"thumbsup" |

Re: Imex tires im still on the search for some 2.2 red rocks and pullers. |
Re: Imex tires Best thing you can do is call them by phone at 352.754.8522 as it seems they never get back to emails. If everyone that wanted their favorite tire did call them to show people are waiting, i bet they would fire up the tire molds again! |
