I'm extremely happy hitting technical sections in my 4.19" RC4WD Goodyear MT/R-shod Ascender K10... pleasantly surprised how that worked out!

Not doing wheels larger than 1.7" on it again, I feel that the scale of the Chevy cab from Vaterra just looks much better with smaller wheels.

Thank goodness it's so damn fun to drive this way...

BTW - the MT/R tires work great with stock foams (they are a new type from RC4WD, white dense open cell, not the typical soft grey older foam) and are not vented, on RC4WD Raceline Monster 1.7" beadlocks.

I have 1.9 beadlocks and want to mount a set of the 1.7 MT/Rs as long as I'm not over 4.19" I'm good for class 1 right, it doesn't have to be a 1.55 tire?

If the manufacturer spec on the tire says it is 4.19" or under, then it is good regardless of what size wheel it is mounted on.

I have both Kinda... My KLR's are 4.19 MT-X. The KLR is a little taller tire..
I really like how the red compound feels. We will see. I can confirm that the MTR does very well. You can't really go wrong with your listed options...

They do have a 1.9" MT/R w/ 4.19" OD, if you don't really want to stretch the tires. I think the 1.7" will still fit 1.9" with no problems.

I recommend going with 1.7 MTR's and 1.9 wheels. They mount right up and the 1.7 MTR is the most accurate RC4wd offers....

Ordered a set of the Rc4wd goodyear wrangler MT/R 4.19 for my axial Blazer. Read a lot of good reviews about them.

Good for you. It will trip all over everything it doesn't already.
Got mine last night, ran it after a comp today on the course - it does pretty well but is not even in the same league as my Ascender comp rig. Mildly upgraded, but it just kicks the stock blazer with 4.7 tires. The wildpeaks slip and slide all over, it high-centers on everything, and approach and departure are also limited.

I'm sure they'll look the part.

I also have a axial 2017 Jk that has a lot of mod's and 4.7 proline t/a krawlers. The blazer is mostly going to be a trail truck. thanks Browneye for your input. glad to hear how someone else is doing with the Blazer

I finally got a chance to really test my 4.19"/1.9" MT/Rs on my SCX10.2 a couple of weeks ago. Between the smaller tires and the shorter shocks I fitted, I did have a little trouble with ground clearance in spots. But if I could set a tire to bite on a point, I would climb obstacles set up for Class 2 rigs. They have amazing grip!

On 3S it goes pretty well. My thoughts were same for being a trail rig. The look is awesome - crawling is adequate.
I think it would be much better with some weight on the wheels/axles. Electrics are decent. Already broke both mirrors. Lol

Although the front bumper drags a lot, it is flexible, so it has that going for it. I like the chassis well enough. I may put the body on my 12" WB Ascender and build a decent crawler out of the new one.

Well installed the class 1 goodyear MT/r tires on the Axial Blazer, they look really small. they are no doubt the MOST scale looking tire I have seen. The rubber compound is really soft but the body of the tire is firm so should grip really good. will find out this weekend. Just hope I get used to how small they look, lol
