custom wheels - who makes them now

who is custom making wheels right now?
i have access to 3d printer, but id like them machined out of delrin/alum.

anybody got any leads?

If you have the designs/files you can have them made through shapeways out of a variety of materials, including metals.

That short lived company was a joke. They'd randomly post up a set of wheels for sale on Instagram. They never really had any product line. They were barely a company. It seemed more like a guy and a hobby.

There's a new custom wheel company on Instagram. I forget the name though.

CNC Custom Wheels has been posting quite a few sets on Instagram lately. They aren't taking orders or requests, he just makes a set and posts them for sale.

He has been doing that for a while. I thought he stopped that as well, but good to know. I'm not one to sit on Instagram and wait for a set to pop up though.

I'd rather buy from a company like Gear Head, LURC, etc that makes awesome, machined, beadlock wheels without any supply limitations.

I've seen his stuff but don't get the point in trying to devote yourself to a first-to-get-the-notification basis, unless you really need Hawaiian width wheels so you can have the kid floaties looking tires.

That's a shame - DCW were my favorite.

I actually just bought back my old set of 1.9 8 hole DCW wheels. I'll never give them up. Love the ability to use LURC rings, and SLW hubs.
