Default Proline BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 1.9” G8 Rock Terrain Truck Tires

These look cool!

Another 1.9 XL tyre in their G8 compound, I have been itching to try a set of proline XL tyres and I think these will be my first!

Wow, I've been in the 10th scale world a bit long I didn't even know the 1:1 was just released.

Spot on tread design.

Tread design seems like tread blocks from a Krawler T/A crossed with a Proline Flat Iron, matched with sidewalls from a Baja T/A - or basically a siped Baja T/A with deeper lugs (RPP link to pre-orders below, ETA - late May):

Pro-Line BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 1.9" G8 Rock Terrain Tires (2)

Height: 4.75" (120mm)
Width: 1.77" (45mm)

Its modeled after the real km3. Which has what bfgoodrich learned for the ko2 tech and applied it to the their km2 which has been an outdated tire. Now we have the km3.

Oh joy, another 4.75 tire.

I really wanted these tires when I heard they were going to be a thing but I have no need for another set of huge 1.9s. Especially when I already have a set of PL Krawlers which are one of the best 4.75 tires on the market.

A set of 4.19 KM3s however: sign me up for like 4 sets.

Like proline did with the hyrax. Bet there will be a small version coming.

Tread actually is more accurate than I thought.

I am holding out hope but the Hyrax is the only XL 1.9 tire they ever made in a smaller version, not exactly a trend there.

I have to ask why. This tire is so close to other Proline offerings. They could have done a different design that was more different than their current offerings.

I'd like a 1.55 Hyrax.

Not really true. The flat iron was first offered at 4.25 before it got an xl version. Then you have the swamper tsl which is offered in 4.3 and xl version. The 4.19 tire didn't get popular till after they were made but proline makes two sizes of their tires even back in 2012 when I started in this hobby

They have definitely made bigger versions of tires, I said the Hyrax is the only one they have shrunk down to a smaller size.

Variety is good. We want new options, but how about something completely different instead of the same old? Look at the photo above in durok's post. There are 4 tires that are extremely similar in tread design and that's not even mentioning the Axial and RC4WD varieties of these or similar tires.

At least they are scale, come with foams and aren't priced at $40 a pair.

Just wondering but on first look at 1.9 tire options would you really think "we need another 4.75 BFG tire"?

Interesting, that the Jeep pictured is a SCX10, not the 10.2.

I am definitely one to prefer more size options in tires. Both in OD and width.

I'm surprised it isn't their new JKU body on the TRX-4.
