Default Proline+RC4WD Rally’s

Anybody tried the blue internal rings on these wheels? They aren’t listed as fitting but but I don’t see why they wouldn’t. The 4.3” swamper bead pulls right out of the standard beadlock ring.

I don't think the PL rings will work for the Rallys. Looking at the specs of the listed compatible wheels, most of those run about 1" wide. The Rallys are listed as 1.25" wide.

You are correct. I test fitted a vanquish ring that has similar specs and the halves came together but left a huge gap at the bead. Bummer.

Maybe a custom ring could be made for the combo.

IIRC, someone made rings out of sections of PVC pipe ... might be tricky getting the exact diameter, however.

I might dry the DIY method. I really wanted the tsl’s to work. It looks like the bead is seated but it pulls out with little to no effort

Seems like I've heard of people scuffing edges of the inner ring and the inner edge of the wheels to provide a little grip on the bead.

That & perhaps a Simple Green or Purple Power soak will get the mold release removed from the tire and help prevent slippage...

I've soaked all my tires in that stuff and my spare sets are seriously stuck together in their stacks... (!)
