What’s the Vanquish kit tire like? How does it hold up against hyrax or klr?

Well, to be honest. There is tire fits all the terrains. Some very good on rocky hills, some good on lose ground and some for mud. Knows your terrain is the key.

I’m getting out on the rocks for the first time with it today, but initial impressions are positive. I like that the tread wraps around the edges of the sidewalls, and they are sticky, certainly stickier than g8. Will see how these do out here, a lot of loose dirt and some good sticky red rocks.

That's bold pricing since they are about the same price as Proline Predator tires.

I agree. I have the predator hyrax sitting by, going to toss those on for run # 2 on Sunday morning. Should be a good compare.

Well VP can't reduce their pricing. They made their name by being a premium brand. Lowering the price diminishes that.



Look at the Incision line, it say a division of Vanquish Products. It doesn't say by VP or anything like that.

Here’s a short video with the stock tires. Pardon the camera work as I was driving and holding the camera at the same time. Will do the same crawl with the hyrax this weekend and will post more about how they compare. I’m happy with them after this first run, they didn’t hold me up once.

Don't seem to hold you back do they.
From a performance and scale perspective I'd like to see these up against the Proline Flat Irons which I find are an absolute beast on the rocks and look more 'scale' than these (in my opinion of course).

See if it works now, I removed the S from the web address and I think that may resolve this third party cookie issue.

That didn't help. It still won't play in Chrome. I tried it in Internet Exploder and it does work there which is odd.

Anyway, impressive video! Did you add any extra weight to that?

Nice! The only two things on the truck that didn’t come in the box are the wheels and proline foams. They are just the single stage that come with the g8 hyrax that I had laying around.

Paxton (the dog face) loves the trucks almost as much as I do, he’ll hike with me and just watch it climb, when he doesn’t have his face in a bush.

If that hill is as steep as it appears then that's a very impressive climb. Do you have video of the stock tires doing the same climb?

You mean stock foams? That one is with the stock tires. I didn’t bother with the stock foams but may give them a shot at some point. They reminded me of pitbull foams, this truck isn’t very heavy so it seemed a bit much from a touch test.

I’ll take a pic of the rock face sometime this weekend when I’m out again, the video doesn’t quite do it justice IMO.

Ah sorry, I misread your statement. I thought you said Proline tires, but you said foams. So this climb is with the stock tires and Proline foams? Yep - very impressive.

Got out again last night, this time with the predator hyrax on the truck. Here’s a video with the rock wall climb. I have to say, while it was close, it was a bit easier with the vanquish tires. I think some CI foams could push the hyrax over the edge. The hyrax did better in some areas than the VST tires but overalll the comparison was very close.

I’m super impressed by both tires but more surprised by the vanquish VST. Going to go back the the vanquish rubber for tomorrow’s run, may try it with stock foams.

Try in internet explorer, from what I’ve read it’s a firewall thing in chrome. Allowing cookies may help too.
