No gaudy brass! About time.

And about time they don't add track width either. Nice!

Will they dictate what hex I can use as it appears they have the raised lip to go through the wheel which is where my hexes usually go... Will I now need flat face hexes or is there sufficient recess on the hubs to accommodate that?

These hubs fit standard 12mm hex and Axial type hex as stated on the product page.

Are these brass hubs compatible with your SSD brass portal covers for the TRX4?

Note:
These are not compatible with SSD knuckle weights (SSD00140)

These hubs are not compatible with SSD portal weights (SSD00198 )

They are compatible with all SSD brass knuckles (SSD00190, SSD00193, SSD00258 )
Doesn’t look like it...

SSD, ETA on when these will be available at retailers and MSRP?

As the portal covers (and knuckles weights) step out over normal SLW compatible hubs, these weights wont fit.

Price can be seen here: https://www.rpphobby.com/product_p/ssd00279.htm

RPP and Amain should have them in around 7-10 days depending on when they order from us.

I have these on order from a local shop. Can't wait to get them and onto my SSD wheels. Mine came in and worked great this weekend on my first crawl with them

Are you planning to offer these in any other offsets (+3mm, or better yet, +6mm?)

I second that....I use LURC lug nuts for every RC I own and for that reason alone, I go with SLW hubs with my SSD wheels. Yes, they can be drilled and tapped, but that's no fun!!!!

Meh, 4-40 still makes absolutely no sense to me on machines that use exclusively metric hardware otherwise... but, making 2.5mm (and/or 3mm) lugs to fit your hubs would be nice. I've been using Gmade's "scale" bolts with my SSD hubs, and while they look better than SHCS's, they're still not as cool looking as acorn lugs!

Oh, and sign me up for some wider sets of these hubs, options are good!
