Foams for Pit Bull Xtreme RC Rock Beast 1.9inch
 

Dear all,
Just got myself a set of these beauties for a Scx10.2 build and I'm looking at CI foams to replace the stock 'two stage' foams they ship with.
Rig is not going to be heavy, nor quick so the single stage CI foams won't be suitable.
Wondering what experience others can bring please.
Thinking its likely going to be lil nova 4.25 soft outer but want some real world experience please.
Rig will be used for trail runs and some rock crawling, but certainly not a comp truck.

What is the weight of your RC RTR?
Which 1.9 Rock Beast? XOR, 4.50" or 4.75"?

4.5" and it's going to be around 5 - 6 lbs when done.

That's going to be personal preference.


My daughter's SCX10.2 weighs 5 pounds 3 ounces RTR and is using the 4.25" Lil Nova Comp Cut Inner with Soft Outers; P/N CWR-2014.


The 4.25" Lil Nova yields a 50/50 foam mix inside the tire. A 4.50" Lil Nova would yield a foam mix of 70/30 (more inner, less outer).



If you're after more sidewall support, the bigger inner will do it. If you want more tire bite, the smaller inner will do it.
