Which tires for a 4.5 lb truck ?

I'm going to build a very light scale truck, my goal is a final weight of 4/5 lb (in my country 2 Kg). I know that tires perform poorly if the weight is not enough. What do you suggest for a light truck ? Do you think there are big differences between Flat Iron, Hyrax, Klr silver or Rock Beast ?

For a lighter truck your gonna want a softer compound for tires

To be perfectly clear.

No big differences....

The reality is all the big manufactures want their tires to perform the best. While one tire design will do better at one climb, another will do better in another climb. So find one you like, and rock it.

Sure depending on area one tire, and compound may stand out, so make sure to check with your fellow crawlers in your area....

Any of the well known brands will be comparable. Choose a soft compound and tread pattern that works best for your intended usage of the rig. Lot's of reviews available here on the forums. More importantly, you will need to spec the proper foams to get the most from any tire you select.

Pro line Predator, Voodoo Red, RC4wd X2s3 and maybe alien but I have no experience with it Pit Bulls. Then choose foams from CI accordingly.

For a scale comp truck I assume.
