SSD makes it easy to love their products. I've mounted a set of the Proline Flat Iron XL on SSD Double Time beadlocks easily, and recently Proline KM3's and RC4WD MT/Rs on a set of Assassin's; all with no issues. Plus, I completed the look of those with the scale brake rotors, as well.

Now I'm finding myself eyeing a set of the satin silver 5-slots for a future build...

The slw scale brake rotor/hub are absolutely phenomenal. I won’t use anything else for my wheel hubs. I’ve had many different beadlocks over the years (old vanquish slw’s, axial, venom from my creeper, ssd steel d holes, and locked up currently at 3 sets). I never had any issues with any of them. That being said I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend ssd to anyone. Great products great prices and great quality.

My RC4WD Rally wheels have a similar design of two halves coming together and bolting at the hub. Now the RC4WD JK wheels I just helped my little sister assemble where a pain in the arse! What we do for the scale details...
G.Made wheels are also easy to assemble.
I had those same SSD "slots" on my mind for a Tamiya Lunchbox crawler build. But decided against that whole build due to needing a smaller chassis or bite the bullet and chop up the Axial rails ($$$)...I decided to do a Blazer build instead and got the Rally wheels.

SSD best bang for your buck, by far. Mount up easy, well built, reasonably priced . Will definitely be buying more.

I just recently bought a set of brass ssd wheel weights and I live them. I know a lot of guys disagree with with rotating mass in a wheel but no bigger than they are I don't think I'll have any big problems.

The decals were/are included in a number of different products randomly. We will continue to do this and maybe add them to more products.
We wont be selling them as it's not something that I think we should charge for.

A lot of times we forget that "cool" or "sick" or whatever else isnt generally the best.

Just mounted up some new tires on SSD Steel wheels. Actually I only use the SSD Steel wheels for all four sets of tires I have at this time and plan to use them on my tires as I really like them and also like the price do. At this time I don't see a reason to buy another brand.

These I use on my Ascender with my Pit Bulls but no good pics with tires on.

Will the Ascender factory Super Swampers mount on the SSD wheels alright?

Thanks!

Late to this party but fully agree that SSD is absolutely the go-to for wheels. Design, machining, finish, pricing and ease of installation are all impeccable.

My first wheel purchase was RC3WD M/T's. After finally getting them installed I nearly swore off aftermarket beadlocks. Four sets of pain-free SSD's later, when those RC3WD wheels come off for tire change they'll go straight to the classy's.

I'm so amazed with this product. The quality is superb and they are so easy to mount. It literally took as long as it takes to get locktite to six bolts
CI foams made it easier too.

It's very satisfying to see that our customers notice the thought that we put into our products to make them better.

SSD is my first choice when it comes to wheels as well. Always easy to build, works with just about any tire, and they look great!

I just put together my first set of SSD wheels last night. I say my first set because there will definitely be more to follow. I have never had a set of beadlocks go together so easily. Other wheel makers should be embarrassed at themselves.

I've been buying the cheap Chinese beadlocks off ebay and I'm getting SOOOOOO sick of all those tiny screws! They work fine, but OMG my hand starts cramping up after just 2 wheels.

Might have to pony up a little more cash and get some SSD wheels.
