| Favorite 4.19 tire?
Now that my trusty KLR MT/X reds are no longer available, I'm looking for something new. I'll be on the east coast, mostly looking for tires for the rocks, but I'm sure I'll have to cross tons of dark soil to get to the rocks... I don't care about looks as much as performance. Thanks!! Hyrax TSL pitbull KM3 Krawlers ... |

We had a tiny tire event with my local club and I got rc4wd Goodyear wrangler mtr’s just for the event and was thoroughly impressed with how well they performed. I was going to get rid of them after the event but decided to keep them because of how well they did. I’m in buffalo,ny btw.

If you can get your hands on a set, Pitbull ironsides. I love my set.

While they are technically not 4.19, I like the Tsl's. I see they are on your list.... |

I have the TSLs. Theywork great for east coast terrain. They do measure out at 4.3" and not 4.19". I am interested to see other folks opinions as i have my eyes on the MTR's to change it up.

I have both MTR and KM3. Pure performance, I have to give the nod to the MTR. I also own TSL. As said, they are a 4.3 inch tire so if you're looking for a class specific tire, I don't think they qualify, but performance wise, stack up nicely.

I like these: https://store.rc4wd.com/RC4WD-Interc...es_p_1588.html Stretched over a 1.9 tire, with some C.I 4.25 medium lil’ novas, but that’s just me. |

| Re: Favorite 4.19 tire? Seems you have all 3 of my top picks in tires. Interesting the MTR's are the better performers, i've been looking to change up my TSLs. Looks like I just need to buy all three |

I don’t buy a lot of 4.19’s but I do have a set of the Hyrax in that size. They actually surprised me today. They did well on slippery cold surfaces where many other tires I have do not. I have a set of the Pitbull Bravens in a 4.3 but haven’t run them yet. Looking forward to getting them out. I have no doubt they will perform. They are snotty and have some seweet lugs |

MT/R has my vote. 4.19" but I mounted the big lug to the inside.
