Default Proline Hyraxx not good on mud, any advice?

I have an SCX10II with dual stage foams and 1.9 hyrax. Really lose my grip after a few minutes on mud.
They are really good on rocks or dry terrain , but not on mud.

Any advice ?

More wheel speed!

Seriously, if your Hyrax are not cleaning out, no mud tire is...

Paddles, Boggers, Mtr's and Tsl's... In that order for agressiveness in mud...

I like Pitbull Rock Beast XOR tires. The open lug pattern works great in looser materials and the wider tread will help with flotation.

This. We have very sticky, clay heavy mud here. Without some wheel speed you are doomed, no matter what you're running.

Also this. Duratrax Deep Woods is also a good choice. The lugs on the Mad Beasts can be cut to resemble a Super Swamper too.

Do you have real Proline Hyrax or generic Hyraxx?

If you want tires checkout the JConcepts Sling Kings. If you don't have tractor or paddle tires in the mud then pretty much all tires are going to pack up. And, as many have said, you need wheel speed in mud. Lots of power!

I do have the Proline hyrax, now I’m increasing the wheelspeed and will be reporting after the rains come back again.

I have some fairly extensive running with the Proline KX's, KM3's (Predator compound) and Hyrax, as well as Pit Put Rock Beast XL's (plus a little with with Super Swampers) all in water and mud, plus loose, wet dirt/clay/soil and sand. Among these, the clear winner from my running is the KM3 tires. I was actually surprised by how much better they actually are over the others. I mean, it's not even close. Even my running buddies were blown away. The KM3's almost never clog up with mud and always provide some bight, even in the muckiest, stickiest conditions. The other tires (KX. Hyrax, and Rock Beast) all clogged up and basically turned into a mud slick where the KM3's continued to proved traction and kept moving, wheel speed or not. Again, I don't have enough experience with the Swampers, so I cant speak on those definitively. But if you want a tire that isn't going to let you down in the mud, try the KM3's. I recommend the Predator compound. It's become my favourite mud tire.
