Hmm... I guess I ask a question that stumped everyone lol, it a mystery to me cuz I been look to get them since September of 2017 and they were out of stock then and still are. If they not gonna make them anymore they should discontinue them.

It seems there are a lot of Vanquish wheels that are out of stock and have been for some time now. Kind of hard to sell product that is out of stock.

Yes, I sent them an email and Michael from vanquish responded back and said he doesn't have a time frame for them to be back in stock. It's just that they have been out of stock for so long now... don't make sense to me to let such a good selling item be on back order for so long. | |

That because china is handling all production and ebay is handling the distribution. Prices have dropped to below $50.00 a set of 4, they even toss in hubs and metric hardware for free.  | |

Some of these Method wheels have been out of stock so long that I thought they discontinued them... Did you check eBay? |

I get the feeling they already were at their limits of production capcity when they released the Ripper. Anyone who remembers when the last time was that at least 80% of their light bars were in stock? And then came shocks and drive shafts and portal axles and even a complete kit, all using up production capacity to some degree. Don't get me wrong, I think all that new stuff is cool, no matter if I personally want/need it or not, but what good is it if you can't purchase any of it? There are practicly no wheels (1.9) available, no lightbars, not the new portals and no regular SCX10.2 axles. And that's only the stuff I am interested in, haven't even looked at 2.2 stuff, for bomber, wraith and the likes. Guess those of us who want the original parts will have to wait and see... |

Rumor is that they've been outsourcing to help with production.

If it's a high end outsourced fab then it's the same price as doing themselves. If it's a cheaper AKA china fab, then you either suck up losses to keep the VP quality or you allow some degree of minor defects to enter the market under your brand. thanks guys for all your opinions and insight on those wheels. I really like the look of those wheels to put on my bomber, they match my color scheme and will top it off cause most of my bomber has vanquish and incision stuff. I believe the bolt spacing is different than SLW...
