Let us know what you think of these. I’ve had these in my Amazon cart for awhile now, but haven’t bought them yet! Are they smaller in diameter than the OG Rockbeast? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk | |

I will say they cost me $2.00 each including foams. I’m really liking them, I put them on a SCX10 and they work well! Hang up and Drive |

Right on the sidewall, they're labelled 4.19" OD, 1.3" width... Pretty accurate measuring them on my 21mm wide Boom Racing steelies. Last edited by durok; 10-05-2019 at 03:25 PM. |

Yeesh... we're talkin' a couple mm here guys... There's that much difference depending on whether you measure mounted on a wide rim vs skinny rim, on a unloaded tire vs a loaded tire, or from top of lugs vs in-between the lugs. It's close enough to be Class 1 legal (106mm / 4.19" Max tire size). I get right at 104mm on mine mounted, but unloaded, top of lug to top of lug. So not exactly 4.19, I suppose... That's not any less accurate than 1:1 tire measurements, in my experience. |

Cool! I agree that they're likely best paired with budget wheels. As far as what to run them on, heck - I dunno... Bolt 'em up on whatever you're gonna drive next and test them out? My changed work schedule and cooler weather are both coming very soon, which should mean I'll finally get out and run some of my stuff, and my Choodoos as well. |

Oh geesh, some of the comments in this thread had me cracking up! I was scrolling thru it as we were watching tv and the wife kept asking me what I was laughing about. Anyway, for $18 shipped, I snagged a pair. I’ll spoon’m on to a set of wheels and foams I’ve got layin around and give’m a try. Not unlike durok, I’ve developed a bit of a weird fetish for wheels and tires.....but, not in a weird way! |

OK, mewalsh100- weird but NOT in a weird way? I was PM'd about my extra set of Injoras, so I sold 'em - but now want another set to use as spare tires - which they will be perfect for, as they are small and skinny. Silly, I know... |

“Choodoo for You!” ...the Wall of Voodoo cassette case I had from ‘87 said “Voodoo for You: The Ugly Americans in Australia” and an asterisk that led down to *(and Kingman, AZ!)... and I still tease my auntie from Kingman about that. I just told her “Choodoo for you, Nancy”. Here’s the album cover and I’m still LMAO’ing about being second to last ugliest of us out-there desert peoples. And since the choodoo KLR 119th post is kinda preposterous already, here’s my Choodoo-ey question Question: Can one of you dudes guess at smart foams to give these choodoos a fighting chance? I’m guessing CI two stage comp cut with a soft outer 4.00” for the front. For a light little Sendero, and if they’re too hard they can go on a TRX4. Use will be “newb learning to climb until these tires wear out” then put ‘em with (perhaps more legit) fresh rubber. I’ve got enough ducats squirreled away to buy a set of foams for these 120mm Hyrax knock-offs, too. Same plan with those, and upgrade to Fancies for Christmas. So, four total pairs of fancy foams to use now and keep for the better rubber in a month or two. I’ve never had legit rubber or foams and I this is all very exciting. So much smart stuff, y’all know so much. Lots of love. PM’s are cool. Lincoln Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
