The lighter 4x4 trucks using the tall tires and Allison transmissions could actually stop beside a Toyota Landcruiser that couldn't make it up part of a sand dune and then start again up the dune with no trouble. This even though the Toyota tires ran reduced pressure in the sand while the Michelins were at normal road pressures.

Also came in smaller sizes and called the xcl, is possibly my favourite tyre of all time as my dad had an old land rover lightweight shod in these

It's a 10x10 HEMTT so I need 10 plus 1 spare. Nothing is cheap when you need 10+ of them!

Sounds like you know a lot more about these than me!

I'm making a custom rig that is based on a HEMTT style cab. Not true to scale because that is well beyond my skills. If your curious: Jebster's 10x10 HEMTT rollback hauler

The more I see these, the more I want a set. If they turn out to be nice, I might need 9 of them LOL.

These would look at home on a fmtv based rig.

I'll be needing them for the HMMWV body I'll be putting together. Haven't decided if I'll make the vehicle operational, or just for display (would be a HUGE shame to damage such a "perfect" body).

Thank God it's not a giant 4.75" tall or taller tire! I like it, looks great!

Fully agree, nice to see some tires hitting the sweet spot. Hope to see more hitting 4.3-4.5 range in the future. I also like that they are narrower. I find the Proline XL's too wide for my preference.

Yeah that was the first thing I looked at, 4.4" is a nice in between size for sure. Also the 1.4" width is decent too, theres not enough skinny tires.

I was holding off on ordering tires last week thinking there would be new tires coming down the pipeline judging from how many new crawlers are coming out these days and sure enough
Well the size fits the bill but I dont think I'd would have picked the military look after all.

Building a UMG10 and have yet buy a top of the line compound tire (in my short four months of crawling)...subscribed 👍.

I like the military look, but hopefully they do some other civilian treads like BFG Kralwers in similar size.

Been saying this for years, I hope this is the start of a mid size tire trend. I've mentioned this to RC4WD several times but nothing so far.
