So, has anyone actually tried the new Landmines tires...especially on the Capra...and, if so, how is its performance (especially compared to the Hyrax)?

They are 4.7" vs 4.75". They are also a bit more narrow. Visually, they look smaller than they really are.

Thank you for the great comparison picture!

It's a shame they're so tall. We really need tires around 4.5".

Agreed. 4.75" tires are too tall.

Landmines are awesome, better than g8 krawler, better than predator krawler. I've had em all.

They look fantastic...but have you actually had them outside? Asking, because I can't find a spec of for on them. If you have had them out for some crawling, seriously, how did they perform m

Thanks...that's the info I've been looking for. My Capra is currently running the Pit Bull Growlers, and they're "really good"...but, "really good" is rarely good enough. I was considering swapping them for Hyrax tires, until the Landmines were announced. I also need to figure if the Vitavon brass portal weights will work with the Vanquish wheels I'm currently running, or whenever I need to replace them with something else (such as some SSD wheels).

But are they? they listed them at $24 originally so maybe they just seem discounted since its a great deal?

Price: GREAT deal
Shipping charge: it SUCKS

Think I'll wait until my LHS, or AMain, had them in-stock.

I was just about to order them, had them in my cart earlier and decided against it because of the shipping cost. Now they are out of stock. I’ve been getting a lot of stuff from my lhs lately anyway. Guess I will have to add these to the list. I’m going to put them on the vanquish wheels I just bought and use them on my Capra and 10.2. I also have rock beast xors and 4.19 wrangler mtr but I can switch them all around. Just the mtr will stay with the 10.2. It would be too small for the Capra.

Like many I was going to order them direct from JC but decided to have my local shop get them from one of there distributors that carries those tires instead. Rather keep my local shop in business instead of ordering direct.
